What's the Ultimate Stag Do itinerary?

Single Day: 10.00 - 16.00

Weekend - Day 1

-14:00 Arrive: Fire Lighting, Archery & Axe Throwing (+Deer Butchery)
-18.00 Dinner round the campfire
-Overnight forest camp in pre-pitched bell tents (bring a sleeping bag)

Day 2

-Cook your own breakfast on the campfire (we provide this)
-09.30 Coasteering, Kayaking or Ultimate Paddle Boarding
-12.30 Depart

What do I need to bring for my Stag Do?

Wear shoes that can get muddy (wellies are great!) and clothes you don't mind smelling of wood-smoke. Comfy, casual layers are the ideal 'woods wear.' You’ll need sleeping bags, a pillow and some more warm layers for camping overnight. Don’t forget your head torch.

Dinner and breakfast is included. You’re welcome to bring snacks & drinks. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.

Where is it the Ultimate Stag Do?

Norden Wood, near Corfe Castle, BH20 5DW

Your instructor will meet 'Norden Park and Ride' and direct you to a place up the road where you can park for free.

The Rules

If you want to down shots, get smashed and chant through the night then please don't book with us (head to Bournemouth instead).

You can't drink and join in with the activities. You are welcome to bring beers for round the campfire afterwards.

No speakers or loud music please.

If you arrive drunk you'll be turned away.

We love The Ultimate Stag - you will too.

Watersports the on the Dorset coast the next day...

You'll need to drive to your watersports location the next day. It's usually about a 10 min drive to Swanage in Dorset.
Choose from Coasteering, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding or Ultimate Paddle Boarding.
Bring old trainers to wear in the water, swimwear and a towel.

Full weekend £157
Includes: Venison butchery workshop, axe-throwing, archery and ancient fire lighting techniques PLUS adventure activity the morning after (Coasteering / Kayaking or Paddle Boarding). Dinner and breakfast provided plus overnight camp in the woods in basic bell tents.
Timings: Day 1: 14.00 - 20.00 then overnight camp. Day 2: 09.30 - 12.30
Please note, we only offer camping April -October. Please choose the 'no camping' package outside of these times.

Full weekend without Venison £147
All of the above, but without the venison. You will have a beef or veggie stew for dinner instead of venison. Timings as above.

Full weekend - no camping £137 (Winter)
Our full package but you sort the accommodation yourself. Just shout if you need stag-friendly recommendations. You will need to choose this package if you plan to visit between October and March. Timings: 10.00 - 16.00 Day 1 and 09.30 - 12.30 Day 2.

One-Day in the Woods With Venison £107
Includes venison steaks and a venison stew plus all the axe throwing, archery and firelighting skills. 10.00 - 16.00

All of these packages have a minimum group size of 10 people. If you have a smaller group, you are still welcome to visit but will be charged for 10 people.

For many this was the highlight of the weekend, with a Weapons in the Woods' and 'fire starter' our group practiced archery, axe throwing and fire starting skills. It was so much fun for all ages - we had 2 year olds watching the activities and adults of all ages taking part. The axe throwing was particularly fun.

This package is just excellent; a great combination of axe throwing, fire starting and bow and arrows. The package was formed around what we wanted to do. The whole afternoon was filled with lots of instruction but in a really interesting and very humorous way by our amazing instructors, Owen and Han.

Had the BEST Stag Do with Land & Wave! This was EXACTLY what I wanted to do! No need to break the bank and go abroad at all. Really cannot fault the team - great concept, set up and execution!

We all took part in excellent activities such as archery, axe throwing, fire lighting and of course the preparation of a deer cooked on an open fire. First class tuition and insanely delicious meat. Well worth the money.

ABOUT THE ULTIMATE STAG PACKAGE

This is a Stag Do with a difference. Do something exciting with your mates – far more exciting than a ropey strip club and a curry. This is your chance to wild camp in the woods, spend time with your mates around the campfire and enjoy some of best venison steak you’ve ever tasted.

We’re based near Corfe Castle, Dorset, near to Bournemouth. A lot of stags choose to stay a night in Bournemouth before joining us to complete their weekend of fun.
During your 24 hours of adventure with us, you’ll master age-old firelighting techniques, learn how to butcher a whole deer with a hands-on venison butchery masterclass, partake in some competitive archery and axe throwing and then head out coasteering, kayaking or paddle boarding the next day.

You’ll camp overnight in beautiful woodland and have an amazing night with your friends around the campfire.
