To complete the certification process, you need to complete an assessment. The candidate needs to be observed leading a session by us for half a day (3 hours).
This can be done at your school / work setting with a group of your students / colleagues or alternatively, you can come and work on an existing Land & Wave session.
The cost of the assessment is £110 (subject to location of the assessment).
We can assess up to four people for this set assessment fee.
Please note that the assessment must take place within 1 year of attending the training course.
After your training course, participants need to run 16 hours of sessions before you take your assessment. These can be onsite at your school / workplace setting.
We can also help provide you with sessions you can shadow and lead at Land & Wave. These sessions are not observed, but they do need to be logged by the individual.
Please wear fire resistant clothing that you don't mind getting muddy or smoky.
Wear warm layers if the weather is looking cold.
Walking boots or sturdy trainers.
Also bring a substantial lunch and drinks bottle.
Tea and coffee provided.
